Cockatiel Care Secrets
cockatiel care There are different species of birds and there are a lot
of interesting birds in the world too - but the most intriguing and
unique bird would be the cockatiel. On this website you will learn
secrets of the proper cockatiel care.
Cockatiels are very intellectual birds that make exceptional pets. They
belong to one of the three hundred thirty species of parrots. They
originated in Australia and they can be found living in cliffs,
grasslands, and snowy, high areas.
Handfed baby cockatiels are forthcoming and relatively cultivated. They
are societal creatures, and have the need of contact with either an
individual or another bird. They live about 15 years when in peak
condition and well taken care of. Female birds do not talk or whistle.
They will need to be in a birdcage - preferably a square or a
rectangular shaped cage. The size of the cage will have to have enough
space for the bird to be comfortable especially for their feet. A
branch from a tree that has shed from its bark will be necessary as
well - as they love picking at and peeling the bark of the wood. Make
sure that the cage is conducive to interaction with you or anyone from
your house and let them stay away from the kitchen as this is where all
sorts of probable hazards for Cockatiels are.
They feed on seeds, fresh fruits and vegetables. The brand of bird food
that you feed them should have the input of your veterinarian or a bird
expert.
Being intellectual, cockatiels also love to play with toys, although
not all of them love toys, a bell would be an idea for such pastime.
The one thing that you will need in training cockatiels would be
Patience. Sessions should be maintained, at least once daily. Take note
that some of them learn faster than the others - you have to be really
uncomplaining.
cockatiel food Necessary vitamins and minerals are needed for your
birds, so in cockatiel care balancing their diet and giving them fruits
and vegetables would help keep them healthy. Avoid buying generic seeds
for your bird as this can be unsafe to its health. A nearby
veterinarian would also help for emergency purposes.
You will need to get your cockatiel's wings clipped every few weeks -
this is so they do not fly out accidentally of your door or window.
Cockatiels are still able to fly in short distances even after their
wings are clipped. Always ensure that your bird is in a small carrier
for safety.;

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
